Conflict Minerals Policy

INZI Display Co., Ltd. adheres to a conflict minerals policy that prohibits the use of minerals from conflict-affected regions in the raw materials and components of our products.

1. Background on Conflict Minerals
Conflict minerals refer to tin, tantalum, tungsten, and gold mined in conflict-affected countries such as the Democratic Republic of Congo and its neighboring countries. Revenues from these minerals often fund armed groups involved in atrocities, including mass killings, child and forced labor, and the abuse of women. In response to growing international concern, the U.S. Congress enacted a law in 2010 mandating disclosure of conflict mineral usage.
  • Conflict-affected regions:
    DRC and adjoining countries
  • Minerals:
    Tin, tantalum, tungsten, gold
  • Associated with forced labor
    and human rights violations
2. Conflict Minerals Regulation
Publicly traded companies on the U.S. SEC that manufacture or commission the manufacture of products using these minerals must trace their origin and disclose related information.
3. INZI Display’s Conflict Mineral Management Measures
1) Request Conflict Minerals Reporting Template (CMRT) submissions from suppliers
2) Request for submission of Declaration of Compliance with Mineral Non-Use in Congo and Adjacent Conflict Areas from suppliers
3) When receiving parts/products containing the 4 minerals (tantalum, tin, tungsten, gold), request smelter information from the supplier
